TRANSLATIONAL CORE LABORATORY

Translational Core Laboratory (TCL), established in 2014, is located at Lab 1 & 2, Level 11,

Pediatrics Building, Women’s & Children’s Health Complex (KKWK), University of Malaya Medical

Center. At this strategic location, TCL aims to provide a comprehensive platform to promote and

encourage translational research among both clinicians and basic scientists. TCL provides not only

laboratory benches equipped with common basic research equipment, but also laboratory work

services to clinicians who need some initial support to initiate their research programs. TCL supports

educational and research activities by providing quality laboratory skills training in molecular and

cellular biology research to new coming research assistants and students.
