CELL & MOLECULAR BIOLOGY LABORATORY

The Cell and Molecular Biology Laboratory (CMBL), a member of the Central Research Laboratories (CRL), Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, provides comprehensive facilities and technical services to support cell and molecular biology research for both Universiti Malaya and external researchers. Equipped with essential laboratory infrastructure, including a mammalian cell culture facility, RT-PCR system, fume hood, refrigerated centrifuge, and other core instruments, CMBL offers a professional and conducive research environment with access to laboratory benches, office workstations, and basic cell culture and molecular workflow services  In addition, CMBL actively supports industry collaboration initiatives by providing access to research facilities, as well as technical expertise through seminars and workshops that promote the application of the latest research technologies and innovations.
